CSP CORPORATE FELLOWSHIP

Fort Knox’s ACES, Fort Knox Transition Assistance Program (TAP), and USA Cares’ Career Transition Program invite you to take advantage of the Fort Knox Career Skills Program – CSP Corporate Fellowship! The program provides skills development training for those preparing for the transition from military service into the civilian workforce. Through this program, each participant will have the opportunity to participate in a fellowship at a local organization within the Kentuckiana region.

FELLOWSHIP 

Participants will spend four days (Monday-Thursday) a week at their designated employer location. Fellowship hours are determined by the participants and their designated employers.

CLASSROOM WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS 

Each Friday during the cohort, participants will attend mandatory workshops at Graham hall (occasionally workshops will be held at USA Cares Headquarters in Louisville). Workshop/seminars will include guest speakers and previous graduates from the program. Topics for seminars include:

  1. Industry Research/Resumes
  2. Social Media & Recruiting
  3. Cover Letters & Portfolios
  4. Interview Methods
  5. Salary & Benefits Expectations
  6. Networking & Communications
  7. Predictive Index Review
  8. Capstone Project/Mock Interview

2024 COHORT DATES

Cohort #1: Feb 12 to Apr 5 (Application due off Dec 8)

Cohort #2: April 29 to June 21 (Application due Mar 8)

Cohort #3: July 22 to Sept 13 (Application due May 31)

Cohort #4: Oct 7 to Dec 6 (Application due Aug 9)

CDL-A DRIVING SCHOOL AND EMPLOYMENT

Obtain your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)

Approved Career Skills Program

CDL Job placement after training

Part of the CSP Corporate Fellowship program

  • Must possess or obtain valid KY or IN driver’s license
  • Must complete DOT physical (not an Army physical)
  • Must complete drug screening
  • No cost to the service member
  • Must obligate 1 year of employment to Mr. P’s at the end of training
