This privacy policy sets out how USA Cares, Inc. uses and protects any information that you give USA Cares when you use this website, or when you give us your information in-person. USA Cares is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We have developed this Policy in order for you to understand how USA Cares collects and uses your information. If we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when online or offline, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Policy. USA Cares may change this Policy from time to time by updating this page. Donations – Your Information is Accurate and Secure

We are committed to accuracy and precision in processing your payments and contributions. We employ a variety of error-checking procedures, and our systems are subject to independent external and internal audits to ensure the privacy, security, and accurate processing of your information. We use a variety of industry-standard safeguards to protect the security of credit card transactions and your personal information. If you are applying for assistance or making a contribution, your information is collected and stored in our databases for record keeping, reporting and analysis. Specifically for Assistance Requests, stored data and information received from you is only accessible by our assistance teams using a layered design within the USA Cares organization. Our database and application providers’ system is encrypted with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which protects your information using both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure and available only to registered and assigned users in our organization. In addition, our provider is hosted in a secure server environment that uses firewall and other advanced technologies to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. This is accomplished by only allowing system access from computers assigned by this organization which reside behind our firewalls and within a restricted IP range inside of our headquarters building.

From time to time, we may use your Personal Information or your Log Data to:

  • Contact you as a continued service through our programs
  • Improve our programs and services
  • Customize our online services to enhance according to your interests
  • Share information with third parties who help us manage our websites, databases, and online services
  • Share information with partners, affiliates, and other third parties who assist us with our programs, events, campaigns and activities.

Please read these Terms of Service (“Agreement”, “Terms of Service”) carefully before using https://usacares.org (“the Site”) operated by USA Cares, Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at https://usacares.org.

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.
