Showing support for veterans can be as simple as what you drive every day. The USA Cares specialty license plate allows Kentucky drivers to visibly support post-9/11 veterans, service members and their families while helping raise awareness across the state.
Who Is Eligible
Any owner of a noncommercial motor vehicle that must be registered for use on Kentucky highways is eligible to purchase a USA Cares specialty license plate.
Where to Purchase
USA Cares specialty plates must be purchased in person at your local County Clerk’s Office. These plates cannot be purchased online unless you are beginning the personalization process.
You can purchase the plate at any time, even if your vehicle registration is not currently up for renewal.
When you receive your USA Cares plate, your regular issue plate will need to be turned in to the County Clerk.
