Join USA Cares on February 13 for a free career and education event geared specifically for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses! In coordination with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA), Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) and the Army Reserve P3 program, the USA Cares Career and Education Expo will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at The Jeffersonian, located at 10617 Taylorsville Rd in Louisville, KY, 40299. The Expo will begin at 10:00 am and run until 2:00 pm. Setup for participating organizations will begin at 9:00 am. This event is FREE to attend. Career-seekers are encouraged to pre-register online at www.bit.ly/careerexpolou20. This event provides an excellent opportunity for employers and educators to meet with veterans and military spouses who are seeking post-service careers in the civilian workforce. Over 200 potential career seekers are expected to attend, and space will be available for employers to conduct on-site interviews if necessary. Please note that space is limited, and employers and educators are encouraged to reserve their booths early. Tables and chairs will be provided.
